Buying Terms

Please read these terms before you bid. Placing a bid means you agree to them.

Bidding

Every bid is a commitment to buy if you win.
You can set a maximum bid. Your bid then rises automatically, only as much as needed to keep you in the lead, and never past your max.
Each lot has a soft close. A bid in the final two minutes adds two more minutes, so everyone gets a fair chance.

Payment

A 9% buyer's premium is added to the winning bid. Sales tax is added where required.
When the sale closes, winners receive an email with a secure checkout link.
Payment is due within 24 hours of the close.
If a winning lot is not paid within 24 hours, it may be offered to the next highest bidder, who then has 24 hours to pay. The unpaid bidder may lose bidding privileges for future sales.

Pickup and delivery

After each sale, you choose how to get your pieces when you check out.

Free pickup. After the sale closes, we drive a pickup route across Southern California with stops in San Diego, Temecula, Orange County, and Los Angeles. The dates and pickup areas for each sale are listed on that sale's page. We text you a map pin and a time window before your pickup day. Please bring a vehicle that fits your pieces. We will help you load.

Delivery. Our own team delivers on the day we are in your area. One delivery fee covers everything you win, so bidding on more pieces costs you nothing extra to deliver.

Within 25 miles of a pickup stop: $19
Farther out: $10 more for every 10 miles past 25, never more than $59
More than 75 miles from a stop: text or email us before you bid for a shipping quote

Route cutoff. We plan the route from paid orders, so lots must be paid within 48 hours of the close to make the route. Lots paid after that can be picked up in Temecula by appointment.

We text you to book a delivery time. Please make sure someone is home to receive your pieces. If a pickup or delivery is missed, we will work with you on a new day, and an extra trip may carry a fee.

Shipping

We can arrange shipping on some pieces, but you must text or email us before you bid. We will quote the shipping cost plus a handling fee, which depends on the piece. Some pieces, such as large framed art, furniture and fragile items, are nearly impossible to ship and are pickup or delivery only. The buyer pays all shipping and handling.

Condition

Every piece comes from a real home and is sold as is. We describe and photograph each lot honestly, including any wear we notice. If you have a question about a piece, ask before you bid. All sales are final.
