Lot 681: Desmons Oil Painting, Tin Pail in Golden Wildflowers, Signed, Wood Frame, 19 x 23 in

A quiet little country moment: a battered tin pail tucked into a sea of golden grasses and white daisies, glowing against a deep chocolate background. Signed Desmons lower right, this oil painting has the warm, rich palette that made these mid century decorator pieces so popular. Framed in walnut toned wood with a linen liner. Cozy cabin energy in a frame.

Condition: Good. Bright painting with a few small white scrapes and paint flecks in the dark background near the upper left corner and a couple of tiny specks lower left. Wood frame has scattered small nicks and dents. Tape remnants and stains on the back of the frame. No hanging wire seen.

Size: 19 x 23 in. All measurements are approximate.
