Lot 605: Vintage Oil Painting, Mediterranean Coastal Village at Sunset, Gold Frame, 29 x 25 in

Golden hour on the Mediterranean, laid on thick. The sky burns orange and red over a hillside village, terracotta rooftops stack down to the water, cypress trees crowd the ridge, and a lone fisherman works his boat in the shallows while the sun lays a long gold path across the bay.

Oil on canvas with lovely built up texture in the clouds and water, set in a wide ornate gold frame that suits it perfectly. Ready to hang.

This is the one that anchors a dining room wall and makes everything else in the room look intentional.

Condition: Very good. Clean, bright painting with no losses seen. Frame has light rubs only. Back has an intact paper dust cover with a ring mark on the paper only. Wired.

Size: 29 x 25 in. All measurements are approximate.
