Morning calm at the harbor. Two weathered fishing boats sit at anchor in glassy turquoise water, old pilings lead the eye in, and a row of sun bleached waterfront buildings with red tile roofs glows on the right. Seagulls drift through a soft sky of blue and blush.

Oil on canvas with lively palette knife highlights, signed Karlson lower left. Set in a deep walnut tone frame with a linen liner.

A large, easy to love coastal piece for a living room, office, or beach house.

Condition: Good. Painting is clean with a couple of tiny white paint specks in the water. The linen liner has a brown stain at the lower left corner. The walnut frame has scattered chips and finish losses on the top and sides and a gouge with splintering on the bottom rail. Wired.

Size: 43 x 31 in. All measurements are approximate.
