Peak autumn in golds and rust, with a quiet stream running right at you and the last of the light coming through the timber. Signed Fochte at the lower left. Oil on canvas set in a deep carved wood frame with a linen liner, wired on the back and ready to hang. The kind of painting that makes a hallway feel like a cabin in October.

Condition: Good. The painting is clean with a warm glow and no losses seen. The cream painted band of the frame is worn on the top rail with finish loss and scuffs, plus small spots. The burl trim is rubbed in places and the liner is lightly stained. Sawtooth hanger.
